Bruker Releases ONET Software for Administration of FT-NIR Spectrometer Networks

Joerg-Peter Conzen, Vice President of Bruker Optics, stated: "I am excited about the release of the new networking software ONET, since it now enables mid- and large-size companies to utilize high performance FT-NIR technology without needing to compromise on ease of use for routine operators. With the continuous demands for cost savings, it is virtually impossible to have NIR expertise in every laboratory or production site. With ONET, all calibration methods can be centrally set up and adapted, reducing the need for local expertise and training. Audit trails guarantee the transparency of products, methods and operator interactions, assuring data integrity at all times.”

He continued: “Moreover, calibration updates can be rolled out to all instruments inside the company network with a few mouse clicks or specific versions can be assigned to a limited number of spectrometers. This allows setting up a global network with local adjustments if required.”

ONET supports the connection of LIMS to the central data base and is available in English, Chinese, French, German and Spanish. The number of clients in the network is only limited by the performance of the server and the network data transfer rate.
