Bestic, the Eating Assistance Device

Bestic is an eating assistance device that enables patients with neurological disorders to eat autonomously. This 35-centimeter-high, 2.3 kilogram unit has a robotic arm with a removable spoon and comes with a plate.

At meals, Bestic is positioned in front of the user, who can control it with the help of a small joystick or, in the Single, at the touch of a single button.

The spoon lifts the food smoothly and silently, enabling the patient to eat independently by simply leaning forward. Different parameters for more than one user can be programmed into the device, including spoon height and type of meal.
