SALLE D’OPERATION ISO 5

The Toul system offers the operating room an ultra-clean air flow at a fraction of the cost of traditional devices – mounted on the ceiling – to adapt the operating blocks to the ISO 5 Standard.

Toul Mobile laminar flux the sterile laminar flux significantly decreases the risk of infection this system is simple and Effective. It consists of an instrument table with a high efficiency filtration system called HEPA.

The air circulating in the operating room is aspirated by a laminar mobile flow and then filtered by a very efficient HEPA filter system capable of cleaning the air by eliminating 99.99% of bacteria and microorganisms. The bacteria causing the infections are 0.2 to 12 microns. The laminar flow Toul uses HEPA filters which eliminates all bacteria of a size of 0.1 microns: 95% of the germ content falls on the operative field and on the Instruments.

The instruments and prostheses are thus protected and maintain their sterility throughout the duration of the Procedure. The patient is less exposed to the bacteria including during very long operations and the risks of pre-operative infection are thus greatly reduced. To address many problems and depending on the type of intervention, there are several dimensions of sterile instrument tables.

The movable laminar flux is proposed as a mobile unit to protect not only the instruments but also the operating field, while having the possibility of having at its disposal a small integrated instrument table which can serve as a suspended unit.

Toul Operio mobile: The Ultra-clean air is oriented towards the operating field to protect it against the risks of bacterial contamination. The mobile laminar flow directly reaches the surgical site and the instruments, without being hindered by a possible scialitic lamp or the head of the surgeon, thus reducing by 95% the content of germs on the surgical site and on the table of Instruments.

The air usually filtered by the air conditioners to the ceiling of an operating room is hindered by scialytiques lamps and by the heads of Surgeons. Sterilization on the surgical field is therefore strongly compromised. In other cases, the ceiling used for filtration is too small to ensure optimum sterilization of the surgical field, instruments and Prostheses. In the most modern operating blocks, also equipped with a large laminar flow mounted on the ceiling, the instruments are usually prepared outside the sterile zone. The instruments therefore lose their sterility before they are even Used.

On the other hand, the instrument table with an integrated laminar flux always protects the instruments against prostheses, regardless of the duration of the intervention and the position of the instruments in the operating room.

The mobile Laminar flux also respects the very strict standard belonging to the ISO 5 class, which provides for a very high level of sterilization of the operating Room. The number of particles still remains below the limits of the ISO 5 class with the mobile laminar flux, including during intense Activity. The sterile cover with a barcode ensures maximum sterilization and also allows to carry out a system traceability for defensive Medicine.

The Toul system offers the operating room an ultra-clean air flow at a fraction of the cost of traditional devices – mounted on the ceiling – to adapt the operating blocks to the ISO 5 Standard. The mobile TOUL unit can be transported and installed in any operating room in just a few minutes without impeding the pre-existing ventilation system. This system is perfect for ambulatory surgery: cosmetic surgery, ophthalmology, intra-vitreous injection etc.
