The PID GC 121 lightweight, low-cost photoionization detector-based hand-held gas chromatograph (GC) is easy to use and delivers rapid and accurate analytical results. Ideal applications include batch analysis for QA/QC, arson investigations and other operations that require monitoring of processes for worker health and environmental safety applications. The handheld GC is a highly customized analyzer. There are more than 250 chemical compounds that can be detected using a photoionization detector. When coupled with this state of the art mini GC configured with a packed or capillary column, this PID can deliver specific direct reading results for similar chemical compounds within the same detection range.
