IDS 2017: Last-minute marketing opportunities

COLOGNE, Germany: The International Dental Show (IDS) is fast approaching. In about two weeks, the most important event for the dental industry will be welcoming visitors from around the world—providing an unmatched opportunity for companies to present their products to a global audience. For exhibitors who have not yet decided or are still unsure on how to approach their participation at IDS, Dental Tribune International (DTI) has some great last-minute marketing tools available.

DTI Press Event

On Monday, 20 March, DTI will be hosting a press event at the Hilton hotel in Cologne, offering 30-minute slots, including moderation and a Q & A session. The audience will consist of media representatives of the DTI publishing group, which is composed of the world’s leading dental trade publishers and currently reaches more than 650,000 dental professionals in more than 90 countries and 25 languages. Companies will have the unique opportunity to present their products and receive direct feedback from an international audience. As only a limited number of slots are available, clients are advised to book soon. Slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

DTSC Lecture Corner

The Dental Tribune Study Club Lecture Corner at IDS 2017 is part of the DTI Media Lounge at Booth D060–F061 in Hall 4.1. The live and interactive 30-minute lectures by company-chosen speakers will be projected on the largest screen on the entire exhibition floor. Additionally, every lecture will be recorded and made available via the DTI website and the publisher’s social media channels. The package includes full technical support, distribution of sponsor brochures to all participants, and a sponsor information table and roll-up banner placement inside the lecture area on the day of your lecture. Available dates for live lectures are 21–25 March.

E-newsletters & e-blasts

With our targeted and customised e-marketing campaigns, exhibitors can effectively generate new sales leads and inform existing customers about their activities and offerings at IDS. On all exhibition days, DTI will be providing up-to-the-minute and comprehensive live coverage of IDS 2017 at www.dental-tribune.com. The corresponding e-newsletters will then be sent to over 250,000 recipients multiple times per day. Exhibitors can choose from a number of e-newsletter options or send their individual e-blast to the DTI database of subscribers.

Banner advertising

For the 37th IDS, we have created a dedicated topic page on the Dental Tribune website. As with the entire website, banner advertising is available on this page too. Banner advertising is an exclusive way to present products and services to the extensive online community that frequents the site, particularly during IDS, and is designed to help generate more clicks through to a company’s corporate website or to a special campaign site for IDS.

Editorial services

Working closely with the client, the experienced DTI editorial team creates and distributes customised content, such as press releases and interviews, with guaranteed distribution via www.dental-tribune.com and our social media channels.

Social media

Many dental companies already use Facebook, YouTube or Twitter to interact with their customers—but what channel suits your needs for IDS 2017? Our social media team will help create, monitor and optimise companies’ blogs and social media accounts on these platforms during IDS 2017.

Video production

For companies that would like to introduce their products directly to prospective customers quickly and professionally, DTI produces a video for one show day or daily throughout IDS. Our team has years of experience in the dental industry and creates high-quality visuals for ambitious business endeavours of all shapes and sizes.
