No more needlestick injuries!
Veebot LLC, founded in 2010 by a team of Stanford engineers, is on a mission to revolutionize venipuncture.
This is good news for the up to 2 million patients who endure needlestick injuries every year.
Veebot’s aim is to make the whole procedure of venipuncture automated. To do this, they have developed a unique real-time vein viewing system that accurately suggests and selects preferred insertion sites.
Ultimately, this automated venipuncture system, will reduce errors and decrease venipuncture times. Thereby, saving hospitals and clinics millions of dollars ; while also improving patient comfort and care.
