ELECTROCLAVE: WORLD FIRST FOR MOBILE DEVICE STERILIZATION

Seal Shield Provide First UV Sanitizer to Use Low-Power UVC LED Technology for Mobile Device Sterilization

Recent outbreaks of infectious diseases such as the H1N1 virus and ebola have raised awareness among health planners for the need for effective infection prevention measures at healthcare facilities. It is now commonplace to see antibacterial hand dispensers at doctors surgeries and at the entrance to hospitals and clinics. But, certain everyday objects we carry with us, such as smartphones and tablets are harder to keep sterilized. Google was one of the first to seek a solution and came up with a tablet for healthcare professionals that is considered “ebola proof.”

Seal Shield, a world leader in infection prevention technology, has recently launched the world’s first UV sanitizer that uses low-power UVC LED technology to destroy pathogens on mobile devices. Designed primarily for use in healthcare facilities, the ElectroClave mobile device sanitizer can sterilize up to 8 devices at a time. Crucially, the sterilization process doesn’t interfere with the devices, which can charge and sync as the ElectroClave goes about its business. In-built Bluetooth wireless allows for uninterrupted enterprise monitoring and tracking. Featuring high efficacy UVC LED (99.9999 percent pathogen kill) and positive pressure cabinet with HEPA filtration, the ElectroClave is an ideal way to stay connected, but free from infection.
