AVK-1000 AUTOMATIC VACUUM MASS COMPARATOR
VACUUM MASS COMPARATOR
New RADWAG-manufactured vacuum mass comparator enables comparison of up to 6 artefacts of cylinder or sphere shape, and of max 1kg mass, with readability of d = 0.1 µg. A specially designed vacuum chamber makes it possible to carry out measurements in a vacuum of 10-6 mBar capacity or in atmosphere containing noble gases.
The comparator is equipped with a suspended weighing pan that eliminates eccentricity errors. AVK-1000 features larger weighing chamber that allows to convert mass unit to kilogram aliquot. Standard version of the mass comparator features thermo-hygro-barometer for testing ambient conditions with great accuracy.
AVK-1000 vacuum mass comparator has been made for Central Office of Measures in Warsaw.
The comparator is applied in metrological institutes where the national 1 kg mass standard is maintained and where the mass of this standard is converted into: mass standards of lower accuracy classes, derived units standards (force, pressure) and measuring equipment for mass and derived quantities.
