A-dec’s new digitally enabled A-dec 300 Pro and A-dec 500 Pro delivery systems allow practices to perform endodontics and implantology inhouse by integrating precision instruments while at the same time de-cluttering and simplifying workflows around these procedures.

When used with Midwest Power Lux electric motors and specialty handpieces now available through A-dec Australia, the upgraded A-dec Pro DS5 or DS7 touchscreens provide precision control of endodontic files with preset workflows.

Advanced Endondontics:

The inbuilt apex locator means you not only get precision control of WaveOne and Reciproc files directly from the A-dec touchscreen, but you also unlock advanced endodontic capabilities with an integrated file library and full visual guidance and audio alerts.

This means you can confidently perform root canal procedures in the chair, with all rotary file settings and alerts displayed right on the DS5 or DS7 touchscreen. There’s no need to manage, setup or clean external benchtop devices, as everything is seamlessly controlled through the A-dec touchscreen and foot controller.

Inhouse implantology:

Those practices upgrading to the latest A-dec Pro with the enhanced DS7 digital touchscreen can add full implantology functionality using an integrated Midwest implant motor.

Midwest is one of the USA’s leading handpiece manufacturers, with its powerful 80W implant motor delivering 5NCM of torque, making it ideal for implant site preparation and implant placements.

Implant settings are graphically displayed on the A-dec DS7 touchpad, along with real-time audio and visual feedback. The touchscreen also provides direct access to implant databases, offering a complete digital workflow for implant procedures.

The fully integrated Midwest implant motor provides full implant motor functions through the A-dec touchpad and foot control, including on-screen irrigation control, real-time torque feedback, automatic peak torque recording and configurable forward/ reverse rotation.

The optional A-dec implant kit includes a peristaltic saline pump and 500ml or 1L saline bag holder which mounts easily to the A-dec Pro 500 delivery head. The large and clear DS7 touchscreen provides full control of implant motor functions, allowing implants to be performed on the A-dec Pro 500 dental unit without additional external equipment.

Unlike bulky standalone implant motors, the Midwest implantology system is fully integrated into the A-dec Pro 500 delivery system and foot control in a compact footprint, enhancing your operating environment.
