Mente info day held in Italy

An information day on the Mente System was held in Terni, Italy on November 18, 2015 and attended by neurologists, child neuropsychiatrists, physiologists, psychologists and resellers.

AAT Medical’s CEO, Dr Adrian Attard Trevisan, was keynote speaker at the event, “Autism and the Mente device in the context of non-pharmacological therapies”.

Dr Attard Trevisan gave a detailed presentation on Mente, introduced the science behind the device and described how the system helps children to engage positively with the world.

The goal of the information day – organised by the Mente distributor in Italy, Promosalute – was to highlight how over time, parents and carers have seen Mente improve communication skills, increase times of attentiveness and actual learning, improve overall behaviour and enhance creativity in their children.

Speaking after the activity, Dr Attard Trevisan said: “This was an excellent opportunity to introduce Mente and the science behind the system to neurologists and practitioners in the field of ASD. It was very productive and interest in the Mente System was very positive. I would like thank Promosalute for organizing the event and providing these opportunities to shed more light on how Mente can help children on the autism spectrum.”

During his visit to Italy, Dr Attard Trevisan held discussions with medical professionals and academics regarding various Mente user trials that are scheduled to be conducted in Italy by different entities there.

He also had the opportunity to discuss different autism-related projects currently in the pipeline in Italy and to contribute to preparations for the upcoming “Workshop Internazionale C.A.A.”, to be held in Naples, Italy on November 27 and organized by Ortopedia Ruggiero. PromoSalute will host a stand to exhibit Mente.
