Carving 3-pontic bridges – in only 60 minutes

The innovative Amann Girrbach processing mode now also covers large blocks

Amann Girrbach extends the application range of the revolutionary "Carving" processing mode for hard block materials on bridge blocks up to a length of B40 (B32/B40). This completes the portfolio of glass and hybrid indications for Amann Girrbach users and even allows "carving" 3-pontic bridges made of lithium disilicate in just 60 minutes in the own laboratory. The extension is provided with the update of the Ceramill Mind 3.9.

The processing strategy available for the Micro IC and Motion 2 of the Ceramill DNA generation was first presented for single-tooth restorations two years ago and has since rapidly established itself on the market. The processing strategy reduces grinding times by up to 60% by separating the excess material as a whole. Low cutting forces and their even distribution over the entire tool length enable higher processing speeds and increase the service life of the tools.

Based on many years of experience and the in-house development of all the elementary components of CNC milling machines, Amann Girrbach can respond precisely to the dental-specific requirements of dental technology and advance further development. Highly profitable indications can now find their way back into the laboratory. The "Thrilling Mode", in which single and multi-piece abutments can be manufactured directly from standard CAD blocks, is the latest innovation and significantly adds to value creation in the laboratory.
