3D printing becomes part of the Ceramill System

Amann Girrbach announces collaboration with 3D Systems in the field of Dental 3D printing

Amann Girrbach will be able to offer its customers to use 3D printing within the Ceramill System before the end of this year. With products and materials perfectly integrated into digital workflows, which will allow the fabrication of a wide variety of indications at lower costs. In order to be able to offer the best possible solutions, Amann Girrbach has entered into a cooperation with 3D Systems, one of the largest manufacturers of 3D printers.

This partnership brings together two industry leaders in the fields of dental system expertise and 3D printing technology. Amann Girrbach excels with integrated system solutions and products for the digital fabrication of high-precision dental prosthetics. 3D Systems is known as the company that invented 3D printing, courtesy of its co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Charles “Cuck” Hull, and has offered an innovative portfolio of 3D printing solutions for more than 30 years. The combined strengths of both companies create simple workflows for the dental sector for the digitally supported fabrication of dentures using 3D printing. 3D Systems also offers a portfolio of 30 unique dental resins for 3D printing under its NextDent brand – the largest number available from any dental material supplier.
