The 40th anniversary of the ASPEL factory
For 40 years, ASPEL has been manufacturing equipment that saves lives and protects people’s health
ASPEL is a Polish manufacturer conceived, established and run since 1986 by the same person, the company’s CEO, who continues to lead it to this day.
It is based in Zabierzów, near Kraków.
The core of its name encapsulates the essence of its business: specialist medical electronics.
The ASPEL factory produced some of the first Polish electrocardiographs; over time, Holter monitors were added to the range, followed by cardiological treadmills and ergometers for exercise testing and specialist cardiac rehabilitation, and periodically other equipment such as spirometers, cardiac monitors and EEG machines.
ASPEL’s equipment combines Polish technological expertise with comprehensive local manufacturing, and holds the most important European ISO and MDR certifications.
The factory has both design departments and complete production lines, a certified testing laboratory, and a team of service technicians.
