Air Handling Unit inside OR
We have recently installed our unit CLINICAIR®1B in two ISO5 operating room.
The specificity of our CLINICAIR®1B is its compacity and the fact that the return air from the room can direclty be sucked out from the front face of the unit.
This design allows our customer to install the unit directly inside the room. Hence, as nearest as possible to the risk area to be treated. The supply air is directly connected via a very short ducting system to our Laminar Air Flow ceiling. This ceiling combined to a good air flow and good filtration allows an ISO5 achievement in the room.
There are 2 main advantages by installing our CLINICAIR®1B directly inside the room :
- Lower the risk of airborne infection. With this design the ducting length is drastically reduce and avoid any unwanted retention of particles and development of microorganisms in the ducting system.
- This solution lowers the cost of your installations works on site. Less ducting and no need of a dedicated technical room to install the AHU.
On this project the customer purchase 2 options :
- LAF Ceiling with stretched canvas for better air diffusion and LED light bellow the canvas for a better lighting of the operating table
- in room touch screen for a easier reading and control of the paramaters of the AHU by the user
CLINICAIR 1B can reach airflow up to 2500 m3/h and is equipped with 3 steps of filtration + our BIOXIGEN technology for microorganisms’ removal. The control by integrated PLC (Automat) allows a management of all the parameters of the room (T°C / Hr% / Pressure etc…)
CLINICAIR 1B is a device designed to treat and ensure air quality conditions within the operating room. The CLINICAIR®1B meets all the requirements of the standard from ISO 8 to ISO 5 according to ISO 14-644 and Risk Zone 2, 3 and 4 (NFS 90-351)
