Reliable medical refrigeration for diabetes care
Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with more than 95 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. The facilities at Novo Nordisk Denmark count hundreds of refrigeration systems (only as a company).
The company has been relying on B Medical Systems’ cooling technology for the last 10 years at least. The quality department has run compliance tests in house and qualified many of its blood bank refrigerators and laboratory freezers. 53 of 60 units are now in full operation, with the oldest one – installed in 2006 – still running perfectly. Michael Møller Ottesen and Kim René Friborg work together in the metrology team. They agreed to share their experience with B Medical Systems’ technology in an interview.
