Biopaper ® is a new type patented bio-degradable hemostatic material.

Adjunctively used in surgical procedures. It can effectively stop blood oozing in surgical wounds, prevent the tissue from adhering, and seal the surgical wound.

Advantages of Biopaper in different surgeries
A.Prevent diffuse bleeding and venule hemorrhage
Constant blood oozing might occur after orthopedic surgery. Biopaper can be used to stop bleeding in the skin, in the muscle, the intermuscular septum, and soft tissue. This will effectively mitigate the risks associated with intraoperative autologous transfusion and homologous blood transfusion.

B.Prevent the adhesion of tendon and muscle
The using of Biopaper will avoid the obvious adhesion between tendon,skin and soft tissues around. Injuries on the hand, foot and joint tendons are commonly seen in daily life. Whether sutured directly or covered with skin graft, the postoperative adhesion is unavoidable and the joint movement will be affected. But the application of Biopaper in such operation will effectively avoid the adhesion between tendon,skin and soft tissues around, so as to save the patient from the second operation.

Usage
Step 1:
Take out the Biopaper with blue plastic coverage from the inner package.
Step 2:
Place the Biopaper on the wound, then press itgently.
Step 3:
Remove blue plastic coverage softly.
Step 4:
Hold the Biopaper for 3-5 seconds to make sure the Biopaper is fully adhered to the wound.
