Erbium Laser is very effective for skin treatment because 2940nm laser can be well absorbed by water.Er:YAG Laser can be well absorbed by water in skin to heat and evaporate superficial epidermis, thus some tissues can be removed precisely with minimum thermal damage. (Thermal Damage Limit: 30-50um.) It is for superficial epidermis treatment without hurting dermis, skin can recover very fast after treatment, only very short downtime is needed.
