What foods and fruits should not be eaten when suffering from blood clots?
Coagulation, Thrombosis, Hemostasis
Food includes fruits. Patients with thrombosis can eat fruits appropriately, and there is no restriction on the types. However, care should be taken to avoid eating high-oil and high-fat foods, spicy foods, foods with high sugar content, high-salt foods, and alcoholic foods to avoid affecting the control of the disease.
1. High-oil and high-fat foods: Patients with thrombosis have high blood viscosity, and high-oil and high-fat foods, such as fried foods, cream, and animal offal. Because they are rich in oil, they may further damage the vascular endothelium and aggravate thrombosis after eating, so they should be avoided as much as possible.
2. Spicy foods: Common ones include chili peppers, spicy strips, spicy hot pot, onions and garlic, etc. Because spicy stimulation may cause vasoconstriction, further narrowing of the lumen and aggravating discomfort, it is not recommended to eat spicy foods.
3. Foods with high sugar content: Foods with high sugar content may induce increased blood sugar concentration. Excessive intake can easily cause diabetes, slowing down blood flow and aggravating thrombosis symptoms, so the intake of sugary foods should be controlled.
4. High-salt foods: If you have high blood pressure, the blood flow rate may increase due to increased blood pressure, which may impact the blood vessels and aggravate thrombosis. Therefore, you should actively avoid eating high-salt foods such as stewed food and ham sausage.
5. Alcoholic foods: Alcohol is a stimulating drink, which may cause vasoconstriction and further narrowing of the lumen, affecting the condition. You should actively avoid drinking.
If you have a history of underlying diseases, you should strictly follow the doctor's advice to use medication control, and follow the doctor's advice to use antiplatelet aggregation and thrombolytic drugs or take surgical treatment to avoid acute thrombosis and endanger your life.
