Portable 12-Lead ECG Diagnosis System Enhances Quality of Home Medical Service

Portable 12-Lead ECG Diagnosis System Enhances Quality of Home Medical Service

On July 30, BriteMED signed the MOU with Hsin Chu Armed Force Hospital and Yuan Ze University Medical Informatics Lab for ECG tele-diagnosis and home medical care program. The cooperation aims to develop the first AI-based 12-lead ECG interpretation algorithm and intelligent diagnosis system in Taiwan. The superintendent Yang Chung Chi expects this system can improve quality of medical service for patients in Hsin Chu area and ease the heavy workload of doctors and nurses.

BriteMED keeps promoting BriteMED® 12-lead Portable ECG to home medical care, doctor visit, and community care service. Combing the innovation and expertise by Yuan Ze University Medical Informatics Lab and the care vision by Hsin Chu Armed Force Hospital and Yuan, this is a good opportunity to leverage the experience and resource of each party to co-develop the first AI-based ECG analysis system in Taiwan and well apply the care service to patients with cardiovascular and hemodialysis patients.

Yuan Ze University Medical Informatics Lab, leading by Dr. Ray Hsieh, keeps developing the AI-based ECG analysis algorithm, which achieves 94% accuracy rate of AF (Atrial Fibrillation) diagnosis compared to 70% accuracy rate from ECG analysis algorithm embedded in the conventional ECG machine. Through the alliance, BriteMED® 12-lead Portable ECG plays the role of quality ECG measurement and combines the deep-learning AI analysis algorithm with Azurise Ltd, the care service provider in Hong Kong, expecting to provide a complete solution that helps enhances the care quality for clinics, healthcare institutions, community medical service, patients in rural area.
