Canon Medical Systems Acquires Danish Medical Equipment Manufacturer Nordisk Røntgen Teknik A/S

Otawara, Japan, 1 March 2022 –Canon Medical Systems Corporation ("Canon Medical", headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi, Japan; President: Toshio Takiguchi) today announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Nordisk Røntgen Teknik A/S ("NRT"), a Danish company, headquartered in Aarhus, with advanced technology for the development and manufacturing of diagnostic X-Ray systems, with the acquisition being completed following the necessary approval procedures. Through this acquisition, Canon Medical opens up access to European-based technology, development, and manufacturing for advanced multipurpose and motorized digital radiographic imaging solutions.
