On October 14, 2023, in Wuhan, Jiangcheng, the semi-finals of the first Chinese Medical Association “Young and Middle-aged Otology Surgery Video Competition” (Wuhan Station) were successfully held.The competition is co-sponsored by the Journal of the Chinese Medical Association, the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the Otolaryngology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and the Editorial Board of the World Journal of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (English). It is exclusively supported by Xishan Technology (Chongqing Xishan Technology Co., Ltd. for short), a leading surgical power device company in China.By improving the level of diagnosis and treatment of young and middle-aged otologists, this competition promotes the balanced development of otosurgery technology across the country, and drives the improvement of the comprehensive service level of hospitals. It aims to provide better treatment and services for the majority of patients with otological diseases.
