Difference REFRIGERATED CHEST OF DRAWERS and REFRIGERATED SHOWCASE

Only producers in Italy

INTRODUCTION

Refrigerators are not all the same as many believe.

There are many differences between them: the space available, the consumption, the visibility of the product inside, the division and each of these leads to the most suitable choice.

THE DIFFERENCES - Display cabinet or chest of drawers?

Our experience teaches us to point out things to the buyer who does not think and does not know, this not because he is a poorly educated person but simply because, in order to notice these differences, you have to work in the refrigeration field and who better than us can give advice ? We have been in the field for more than 40 years and always aim to lead our customer to the best choice.

Let's take a look at the differences...

- The Frigovetrina has visibility of all the contents thanks to the glass door, which the chest of drawers does not have because it does not have glass but simple removable drawers.

- The Frigovetrina is a cheaper fridge but with many drawbacks. Apparently it may seem more capacious, but it is not... Let's see why...

As regards the division and arrangement of medicines, the chest of drawers is better, just think that most of the showcases are equipped with removable shelves (but not too much) and this brings disadvantages. Among these the biggest disadvantage is "I take out the shelf and take the medicine" no! this operation is wrong... it leads to the boxes falling and the shelf to become messy.

Let's think about when you open the refrigerated cabinet... the pharmacist must have his hand busy to hold the door and his hand busy to hold the shelf, among other things he must also be very careful not to pull it out too much otherwise there is a risk that the shelf will fall out of the guide and all the medicines fall down.

In this case, the chest of drawers is recommended!

Each drawer is equipped with separators so that the medicines cannot fall and get messy, the drawer can be pulled out without the risk of it coming out of the guide and thus you have greater visibility of all the medicines contained. Using the chest of drawers, the pharmacist's hands are free to take the medicines in total tranquillity.

CONSUMPTION

Do I choose the chest of drawers or the fridge-showcase?

The correct answer is REFRIGERATED CHEST OF DRAWERS!

When a refrigerated cabinet is opened, there is a greater amount of air being emptied than a chest of drawers.

In the meantime that the pharmacist opens the showcase, extracts the shelf, takes the medicine and closes it again, there is a rise in temperature given by the emptying of all the fresh air from the refrigerator therefore it takes some time to return to the optimal temperature. More importantly, if the fridge is opened continuously, it cannot return to temperature immediately and this leads to energy consumption since the compressor switches on continuously.

This is not the case for refrigerated chests of drawers...

When the drawer is opened to take the drug, the compartment is much smaller and does not allow for total air emptying. Thanks to the bulkhead mounted on the drawer, when it is opened, it acts as a stopper, therefore the air flow cannot escape and so the compartment remains at the right temperature. In doing so, when the drawer is closed, the refrigerator will quickly cool only that drawer. All this leads to less work of the compressor, since it will not start continuously.

CUSTOMIZATION

The refrigerated chest of drawers can be customized with the same style as the pharmacy, i.e. the fronts of the RAL you prefer and, if necessary, also the cabinet can be customized.
