The iFixation system is a modern, technically advanced hexapod external fixation system designed for angular correction of deformities of long bones, including the tibia, femur, and humerus, as well as for complex corrections of the foot and hindfoot. The system is based on a hexapod configuration that allows precise, multiplanar, and gradual correction of angular, axial, and rotational deformities. It is equipped with updated technical features enabling the acquisition of radiographic evaluation images through automated systems, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement of deformity parameters. Certified data processing and validated calculation algorithms are provided to generate patient-specific correction protocols, supporting a controlled and predictable progression toward the planned final alignment. In addition, the activation process integrates dedicated software functionality capable of assessing planar and angular imperfections of the foot. The software analyzes radiographic data to suggest targeted corrective strategies for the calcaneus, midfoot, and forefoot, with automated radiographic correction processing to optimize accuracy and repeatability of the treatment plan. The modular design ensures high mechanical stability while allowing continuous adjustment throughout the treatment period, making the system suitable for both standard and highly complex orthopedic deformity corrections.
