Skeptically, "Raspberry Pi" Can Dispel Cloud Users' Doubts?

"Going cloud" can eliminate hardware maintenance costs and reduce local space occupancy. However, cloud solutions must be operated with Internet stability, especially medical imaging diagnostic services. This has been the major concern of "going cloud", so users can't rely on cloud solutions completely.

In response to this issue, EBM has developed an innovative software product, "EPS Pi", implemented with the Raspberry Pi, to be the local synchronizing image server. Users can enjoy the benefits of cloud services even offline.

Raspberry Pi is a lighter hardware structure with the advantages of cost effectiveness and low power consumption.

When the Internet goes offline, the built-in DICOM Server and HTML5 Viewer are capable of furnishing a miniature PACS system with the ongoing system workflow sustained efficiently.

AWS (Amazon Web Services), the strategic cloud provider, held the "AWS Industry Week" Exhibition from 25th October 2022 to 26th October 2022 in Taiwan. EBM Technologies, the partner of medical imaging solutions of AWS, was invited to introduce the innovative medical software products, including "EPS Pi".
