For minimally invasive procedures as well as treatments and operations using robotic systems, smaller and smaller surgical instruments with complex geometries are being used. This poses challenges for hospitals and/or affiliated sterile processing companies, as these hollow/ tubular shaft instruments are significantly more difficult and time-consuming to clean, disinfect and sterilise.
The MDR-compliant Elmasteam 8 med*, with its 8 bar steam pressure, simple operation and variable filling methods, offers optimal support in the pre-cleaning of such instruments. With the adapter set for the Elmasteam 8 med, hard-to-reach places can be easily reached and cleaned. The Luer-Lock connection enables a quick change of the different adapter attachments. In this way, a wide variety of cleaning tasks can be carried out efficiently and reliably.
