ASSEMBLY - TOXIC ISOLATOR

A major project was launched several weeks ago at the EREA workshop.

An isolator for toxic application, which will be used for weighing highly active substances.

EREA's offer to the customer included :

- the design,

- the manufacturing

- the delivery,

- the installation & the commissioning of the isolator.

The negative pressure in that isolator will enable a toxic application, for the protection of the operator and the environment when handling and weighing toxic or cytotoxic products.

That equipment is a simple workstation made of a 1 glove entry SAS and a 4-gloves main chamber. The EREA isolator incorporates two scales, bulkhead passes and a water gun.

The FAT has been carried out last week with the customer. It all went well. It is time now for the dismantling and the shipping.

One of our customers requested from us to install a set of mobile protective carters, to secure an erea with a risk of liquid projections. EREA offered a Made in France solution.

We offer panels on wheels, with PETG panels at the top of it and INOX 316L cladding at the bottom! A retention spout has been positioned at the bottom to catch liquid projections on the wall. The equipment must be resistant to bleach and H2O2. EREA's welding expertise was used to create this special feature. The customer will receive these Mobile Covers very shortly.
