EchoLaser is suited for echo-guided percutaneous laser ablation of biological tissue such as benign and malignant lesions in various organs. The main applications currently involve the reduction of benign thyroid nodules and destruction of primary/secondary malignant liver lesions. Further applications are being researched to assess their effectiveness, safety and long-range clinical results on other organs such as metastatic lymph nodes in the neck, pancreas, breast and prostate tumors. Join the International School of Thyroid Ultrasonography - Advanced practical thyroid ultrasound course: focus on diagnostic elastosonography and laser treatment of thyroid nodules. It will be held at the University of Pisa (Italy) on October 17th -18th, 2014.
