NHPig EU project launches to transform non-clinical research

ETISENSE is proud to announce its participation in the European NHPig project, funded by the Innovative Health Initiative, aiming to transform non-clinical safety assessment through the use of mini and micropig models. This strategic project seeks to enhance translational understanding between pig models, non-human primates (NHPs), and humans, paving the way for these pig models to serve as viable alternatives to NHPs in non-clinical safety testing. Trough its jacketed external telemetry solution, ETISENSE will develop, implement and validate intelligent biosensors, devices and animal housing for automated data collection with an academic partner. These innovations will help assess the safety of new drug compounds while minimizing animal stress and ensuring high standards of animal welfare.
