Olympus Scientific Solutions Is Now EVIDENT

Visit us at analytica 2024!

In 2022, Olympus made the decision to spin-off its Scientific Solutions division into a new, independent corporation called Evident. By moving forward as a distinct Scientific Solutions entity, we now have the autonomy and focus to respond more effectively to the needs of our life science and industrial customers.

Our name may have changed, but we continue to lead the way in microscopy and scientific solutions, as we have done for over 100 years. With over 4,300 employees across 25 countries, Evident provides the same level of expertise, innovation, and manufacturing capabilities to deliver the quality products and services our customers have come to expect from us. Most importantly, our unwavering commitment to our customers remains central to all that we do.

Building on the long-established foundation of trust and reliability associated with the Olympus brand, we’re advancing our Scientific Solutions operations, putting more emphasis on supporting our customers across life science, materials science, and industrial arenas, with novel innovations that overcome challenges and elevate their work. Below are some of the latest innovations from Evident that we will be showcasing at analytica 2024, Munich.

FLUOVIEW™ FV4000 Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope

The transformative new FLUOVIEW™ FV4000 confocal laser scanning microscope is designed to help you get more from your confocal images. With patented silicon-based SilVIR™ detector technology at its heart, the system makes it easier than ever to acquire clear confocal images.* The FV4000 prioritizes image clarity to maximize precision and reproducibility in your data.

In addition to its exceptional sensitivity, quantitativeness, and the ability to multiplex up to six channels in parallel, the system also comes in a user-friendly modular design, providing versatility for your ever-changing research needs. The FLUOVIEW FV4000 sets a new standard in confocal imaging, exhibiting an industry-leading** spectral detection range from 405 to 785 nm—incorporating up to 10 simultaneous laser lines.
