Empower your imaging experiments

The new FLUOVIEW FV4000 and FV4000MPE microscopes are designed with the researcher in mind, enabling them to acquire higher-quality, quantitative image data in less time and with less effort.

At the heart of both new FLUOVIEW systems is Evident’s revolutionary SilVIR (Silicon photomultiplier from Visible to IR) detector system, a next-generation technology that enables researchers to achieve quantitative image data. With its combined silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) and patented digital signal processing technologies, the SilVIR detector provides exceptional noise reduction and enhanced photon detection efficiency for a wider wavelength range, delivering clearer, more accurate imaging results and quantitative image intensity data.

One photon at a time

The technology behind the SilVIR detector enables you to precisely quantify image intensity for more reliable data. Capable of detecting up to 2,000 photons/2 µs, the SilVIR detector not only captures clear and accurate fluorescence measurements but also effectively filters out the noise. This capability leads to enhanced image quality across diverse samples, providing superior insight and facilitating more in-depth analysis.

Delivering exceptional image quality and accuracy

The FV4000 and FV4000MPE microscopes employ the SilVIR detector to provide an outstanding combination of sensitivity and precision, enabling researchers to acquire high-quality images that surpass those of previous-generation systems, even from weak fluorescence signals. By capturing both high- and low-intensity fluorescence signals with precision, researchers can produce vivid fluorescence images without compromising sensitivity or risking saturation. This not only simplifies image analysis and processing but also streamlines the experimental workflow.

Reproducible image data between users and systems

By combining advanced SiPM technology with state-of-the-art digital processing, the SilVIR detector is on a trajectory to become the new standard of performance and reliability in laser scanning microscopy. Equipped with a built-in laser power monitor and TruFocus Z-drift compensator, it ensures a consistent laser power output, regardless of the time since installation. This feature, coupled with the SilVIR's consistent mass production, ensures long-term stability and minimal sensitivity variation. These capabilities empower users of all levels to consistently capture precise images using identical settings, ensuring uniformity regardless of experience, device, or acquisition date.
