FISIOPRESS TECHNOLOGY

• Fisiopress starts exclusively from the physiopathological knowledge of the venous-lymphatic-arterial systems

• The purpose of the Fisiopress device is to create a centripetal propulsive thrust, i.e. from the periphery of the limb to the base of the limb itself following the

physiological path of the fluids (venous and lymphatic)

• Emptying the venous system allows for a better flow of arterial blood which oxygenates the muscle even more effectively and helps discharge lactic acid.

How does it achieve this goal?

1. With a truly sequential compressive operating cycle in which the compressive action, in the applicator garment, starts from the most distal bag (foot) and gradually

continues the inflation of the subsequent ones, keeping the previous ones under pressure to avoid stagnation or reverse flows, up to the last one to arrive then to the

overall deflation phase of the bags and start the cycle again.

2. In order to give maximum continuity, the internal bags are partially overlapped, avoiding intermediate spaces between one bag and the other during the inflation phase.

3. There is also a third function called D.A.S.C. (distribution to communicating sectors) which ensures that as they inflate all the sectors remain at the same pressure,

thus avoiding possible pressure discontinuities due to the different circumferences of the legs
