Cryogenic Labels for 2D Sample Storage Tubes

These labels for slim profile 2D sample storage tubes allow the side and bottom to be labeled simultaneously so that they can be identified with 2D barcodes on the bottom, as well as 1D barcodes and human-readable text on the side. They are compatible with 1.0 ml, 1.4 ml, and 2.0 ml high-throughput /automated sample storage tubes such as Matrix™️, Simport®️ T100-20, LVL technologies LI and LX 1000, and others.

They allow 2D tubes without an engraved barcode to be used and are a cost-effective way to update any pre-established information without compromising their placement in their latch racks (48 and 96-well arrays). Fully compatible with all automated sample storage tube readers, scanners, tracking software, and automated/robotic liquid handling systems. These storage tube labels provide maximum flexibility and control of information, allowing 2D tubes to be encoded with custom data, to replace damaged or unreadable barcodes, and overwrite or redefine inherent barcodes. Perfect for keeping track of samples of varying type, across locations, down to the rack, box, column, and row.

Designed to withstand long-term storage under cryogenic conditions, these labels will withstand extended storage in liquid phase and vapor phase liquid nitrogen (-196°C/-321°F), ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C/-122°F), as well as transportation on dry ice. These thermal-transfer printable cryo labels will also resist damp storage environments and spraying with alcohol and various detergents.
