The consequences of global warming are becoming increasingly visible and the pressure on politicians and companies is becoming more and more noticeable - not at least due to the Fridays for Future movement. Fortunately, the global consensus that we urgently need to counter man-made climate change is there.

Success in reducing emissions to protect the climate depends, of course, to a large extent on consistent action by business in the industrialized countries. Thus, we, GETT Gerätetechnik GmbH, are also prepared to take responsibility for the world we leave to our children and grandchildren.

Therefore, we have had the greenhouse gas emissions caused by our company's activities recorded and offset by purchasing a total of 1,960 climate protection certificates for the years 2021 and 2022. With these certificates, we support a biomass project and an energy recovery project in China, both certified under the authority of the Gold Standard.

Our company's carbon footprint:

Our carbon footprint is 799 tons of CO2 equivalent pollutants per year.

To put this into perspective, on average, a person in Germany generates approximately 11.6 tons of CO2 per year through their lifestyle.

We will continue to work on optimizing our company and our actions with regard to climate neutrality in the future.
