Dr. J. Hänsler becomes Hänsler Medical. Kastner-Praxisbedarf GmbH becomes part of Hänsler Medical Group.

• From January 1st, 2022 Dr. J. Hänsler GmbH trades under the name of Hänsler Medical.

• Simultaneous acquisition of Kastner-Praxisbedarf GmbH by Hänsler Medical.

• Jonas Renz becomes Partner of the Management Team of Hänsler Medical Group.

Iffezheim / Düsseldorf. On the occasion of the world’s largest medical fair MEDICA 2021 Hänsler Medical, formerly Dr. J. Hänsler GmbH, spreads great news. From January 1st 2022, Dr. J. Hänsler GmbH will trade under the name of Hänsler Medical. At the same time, also the long-established company Kastner-Praxisbedarf GmbH will become part of Hänsler Medical Group. As a result of this merger, Jonas Renz will join the management of the Hänsler Medical Group as further Managing Partner besides Robert Viebahn.

“Even though our business is deeply rooted in Europe it has become increasingly international in recent years. This strategic step will enable us to better approach international customer groups and to provide a significantly enhanced product portfolio to our regular customers.” explains Robert Viebahn, Managing Partner of Hänsler Medical. And he elaborates further:” The brands OZOMED (Kastner-Praxisbedarf) and OZONOSAN (Dr. J. Hänsler) are excellently established in their respective key markets and segments and will of course be continued there.

Jonas Renz adds: “Just as Dr. J. Hänsler acts as undisputed market leader in Europe, Kastner-Praxisbedarf enjoys an excellent reputation in Asia. “But also, classic scale benefits speak in favour of this step: „Scale engenders significant benefits in our industry “, says Jonas Renz. „This applies above all to the synergy and scale effects observed in the areas of purchase and production, but also reduces the challenges we would have had to satisfy individually in terms of medical device legislation (MDR). With more than 30 employees distributed over two company locations we will be strategically much better positioned, “he explains.

For more than 30 years Kastner-Praxisbedarf GmbH has reliably supplied its customers on all kinds of practice articles and has furthermore successfully established itself as a supplier of modern ozone therapy instruments, especially in the Asian market. Besides ozone autohemotherapy appliances, the company also manufactures top-selling products for HOT (hematogenous oxidation therapy) and UVI (ultraviolet blood irradiation) therapies.

Since the development of the first medical ozone generator dating back to more than 60 years Hänsler Medical has always provided its customers with cutting-edge ozone therapy devices and particularly secure consumables.
