The software comes in a CD driver and software instructions with every Hingmed WBP-02A package. The software is windows based and consists of two modules, one module is the terminal software which is used for patients’ information upload, information management, programming of ABPM, and report download, and the other module is central software which is mainly used for receiving and analyzing the data, generate and distribute the reports to the terminal software.

Step1: Collecting Data

As the data will upload to the central software, the terminal software is mainly designed for the nurses or the healthcare providers who are interacting with patients directly. After installation of the terminal software, health practitioners need to login to the software and connect the ABPM to the computer with a micro-USB cable or Bluetooth in order to upload the data to the Blood Pressure Information System (BPIS). After connecting with the system, the patient’s information needs to be filled out to upload the data to the central server. With the terminal software, doctors can control the display reading and manual measurement and set the interval times of the monitor.

Step 2: Measurement and Data Upload

Patients can wear the BP monitor on their upper arm once the device is programmed and the patient’s data is uploaded to the terminal software successfully. The physician needs to do a manual measurement to start the 24-hour BP monitoring and check whether the monitor works well. After assuring the device works well, the patient can go home with the WBP-02A and enjoy fully automatic blood pressure monitoring for the next 24 hours without any interference. The BP data will be uploaded to the central server through terminal software in real-time and the server will manage the data automatically so doctors can analyze the data.

Step 3: BP Data Analysis and Report
