“The addition of the EasyCell to HORIBA Medical''s hematology product line makes it possible for a wide range of clinical laboratories to realize the efficiencies resulting from automated digital cell differential analysis of stained slides using pattern recognition technology. Medica is pleased to serve as HORIBA Medical‘s analyzer provider in this effort,” said Robert W. Hagopian, President, Medica Corporation.

Besides assisting technologists with cell classification, the EasyCell features Remote Viewing Software for sharing of cell images throughout the hospital. Additional Competency Review Software aids in training of medical technologists in the hematology laboratory.

“The EasyCell assistant is an important addition to our hematology product range and is a good match with our five-part differential hematology instrument portfolio, said Olivier Pou, Corporate Marketing Director, HORIBA Medical. “The addition of the Medica EasyCell assistant to our product offering makes it possible for HORIBA Medical to provide a complete range of advanced technology to our hematology customers, worldwide.”
