First stone ceremony New R&D center of HMFR (Montpellier site)

This new building, which will become operational starting spring 2015, will host all teams of the following departments: Product Development, Innovation and Clinical Quality. They will thus enjoy a new working environment which will allow a concentration and optimization of our know-how and our expertise in the IVD field.

The Center will cover an area of 3500 square meters (m2) on 3 levels, with a ground floor for technical facility (laboratories and workshops), one level for open space offices and a second level which allocation still remains to be confirmed.

The whole Montpellier staff was invited to the ceremony and came to listen to the speeches during a coffee break.

Concurrently, a mascot by the name of Appy was created so as to answer questions and suggestions about the works, through a special mailbox on HORIBA Medical''s intranet.
