Workshop: Groundbreaking Method for Diagnosing Periprosthetic Infections Using Synovial Aspirates

Periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) remains one of the most complex and challenging complications following arthroplasty. Since no single diagnostic test offers 100% accuracy, a combination of methods is often required to improve diagnostic confidence.

This online workshop introduces a novel and promising approach: the graphic representation of cell count analysis from synovial aspirates. This emerging technique enhances diagnostic precision in both early and late-stage PJI cases.

Participants will gain valuable insights into how synovial fluid cell count data can support the identification and differentiation of various types of periprosthetic infections.
