Empowering Neurosurgical Teams with Advanced STX System Planification

Collaboration, surgical precision, and technological innovation were at the center of our recent workshop held in Morocco. Focused on Stereotaxy: Biopsy and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) planifications using the STX system, the session brought together neurosurgical experts, clinical specialists, and partners to advance surgical planning and workflow efficiency.
Led by Abdelmajid Chellaoui and Mustapha Hemama in the Ourika Hall (15:00 – 16:00), the workshop provided an interactive platform to explore advanced planification techniques, system integration, and best practices in stereotactic procedures.

Key Highlights:

Stereotactic & DBS Planning:
Participants reviewed step-by-step planning workflows for stereotactic biopsy and DBS target localization, emphasizing target accuracy, trajectory safety, and integration with the STX system infrastructure.
Hands-On Expertise & Workflow Optimization:
Guided by Dr. Chellaoui and Dr. Hemama, attendees engaged in detailed case discussions, analyzing surgical planning scenarios to streamline data handling and trajectory alignment in clinical settings.
Strengthening Regional Collaboration:
The session fostered vibrant technical exchange between clinical teams and operational leaders in Morocco, ensuring that stereotactic tools and software workflows directly support ground-level surgical requirements.
