OXYGEN GENERATOR FOR A CORONA EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN GREECE

INMATEC IMMEDIATELY DELIVERS A POC MED 8500 TO GREECE TO BRIDGE THE OXYGEN SHORTAGE DURING THE CORONA CRISIS

Our longtime sales partner in Greece - specialized in the oxygen supply for hospitals and clinics - was assigned with the implementation and planning of this project due to his know-how. A vacant sports hall is currently being converted into a makeshift hospital in order to supply 100 corona patients with the vital medical oxygen.

Due to a generous donation, the generator for this project could be financed within 24 hours and the project could be started. INMATEC guarantees the immediate delivery of the medical generator. The hospital is fully equipped according to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic guidelines, a safety distance of at least 2m between each patient is always given. The continuous ventilation of 100 patients can be ensured thanks to the self-generated medical oxygen and be guaranteed at any time. With a purity of up to 95%, the INMATEC O2 Generator meets the purity specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia (Pharmacopoeia) for medical applications and is manufactured in accordance with the quality management systems ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 7396-1:2016. Furthermore, it is certified according to the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC (CE1250).

The special challenge was to calculate the increased oxygen consumption for patients suffering from Covid-19. The production of medical oxygen can be increased to a maximum of 37 Nm3/h and can be adjusted individually if required. Specially certified INMATEC technicians will put the system into operation and guarantee the INMATEC 24/7 service, which also ensures uninterrupted oxygen production. Hopefully the pandemic will soon be overcome, the generator can then be used in a municipal hospital to treat 200 patients.
