Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) and echocardiography are widely accepted as essential tools in critical care however, uptake in pediatric and neonatal care is lower. This may in part be due to a lack of training, accreditation, and insufficient awareness. As part of our mission to unlock ultrasound, BabyWorks hopes to revolutionize PoCUS and Echocardiography training for pediatric and neonatal specialties.

BodyWorks Eve revolutionalized training in Point-of-Care Ultrasound worldwide, combining real patient scans, active scenario training, and the HeartWorks echocardiography simulation. However, until now pediatric and neonatal specialties have been lacking the state-of-the-art, high-fidelity training tools available for adults.

BabyWorks Sam is an ultra-realistic baby manikin offering a safe and effective training tool for pediatric and neonatal ultrasound and a high fidelity, accurate scanning experience.

The BabyWorks manikin uses accurate, palpable landmarks and real ultrasound scans to provide a state-of-the-art, high-fidelity scanning experience. The manikin can easily fit inside an incubator and can be scanned from the clavicle to the pelvis, as well as two cranial windows, allowing you to scan as you would a real baby in pediatric or neonatal care.
