Family business founded in 1980 by Mr. Joseph Roger MARUANI

with the aim of developing modern and robust packaging machines for medical devices.

JR Maruani began with the improvement and maintenance of various second-hand machines as well as the representation of packaging machines imported from the United States.

Then quickly, following requests from our customers, we designed and manufactured in France our first automatic packaging machines for flexible bags, the RDM (Roto Digital Machine).

Leader in the design of high-performance longitudinal seals which ensure uniform longitudinal seals essential for peelable bags for medical devices. Our lifting system, associated with our tab notchers, then allows us, without falling materials or specific cutting tools, to create the opening tabs at the top of the peelable bags, recognized as practical and effective by practitioners.

The adaptation of electronic controls for mechanical movements using standard technical products with a worldwide reputation ensures the independence of supply for our customers.

From our first presentation at the packaging fair in Paris, we felt the enthusiasm for our production and our technology from French and international visitors.

The company quickly moved into its own premises in Gonesse, 15 km north of PARIS, in order to be able to respond to the increase in production, while remaining close to all means of rapid national and international transport.

The creation and adaptation of various printing systems for product recognition and coding followed the evolution of customer requirements.

Thanks to innovative, safe, ergonomic and hygienic conveyor systems, we have been able to build multi-line machines, thus multiplying packaging production.

The introduction of the first programmable logic controller systems into our machines was the beginning of automated lines, with compress folding machines, for the online production of sterile compresses.

The evolution of our machines continued with, for example:

- Carrying out the first selective ejections to remove products determined to be non-compliant.

- The adaptation of the first alphanumeric information bars,

- The production of independent and modular sealing groups on SME machines (from 1985)

- The choice of square or rotary transverse sealing method. (From 1995)

- The installation of production meters linked to the network,

- Automation of various production lines.

- The complete sealing mode by mold. (From 2005)

- Self-checking of material reels.

At the same time, we designed and created a continuous sealing system for polyethylene films.

We developed, for a French surgical glove producer, whose goal was to acquire an innovative machine, without folding pliers which mark the gloves and with easily modifiable packaging dimensions, the MPG .

Subsequently, other international customers interested in MPG asked us to create a machete turning principle with in-line glove loading. We then designed the DPGLs to offer complete surgical glove packaging lines, including peelable sachets and their packaging.

We have also developed packaging machines with hyper-flexible format changeovers, intended for printed circuits (under special anti-corrosion paper), MCI .

The production of MCI machines has made it possible to develop VIVAPAC, intended for small or medium-sized flexible series, focusing on essential compliance with quality and hygiene standards for sterilizable medical products. They are productive thanks to inexpensive automated loading systems, linked to their Step-by-Step operation.

From VIVAPAC machines we have created solutions for suture packaging with several challenges:

Make very small bags without risk of damaging the product (threads, cardboard, or needles).

Produce double-packaged bags, online, allowing gas sterilization of aluminum bags.

Make bags of different materials and different shapes depending on the type of sutures with the same equipment.

To advance our range of continuous motion machines , we have equipped it with SIEMENS * PLC systems , SIMOTION * servo motors and axis controllers with intuitive touch screens.

We collaborate with our customers in the Installation of UDI QR code marking systems and in the vision control of printed references.

We produce standard or personalized machines based on specifications defined or established in collaboration with customers.

Always ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow, we are embarking on the audit of our company in order to achieve ISO 9001 certification .
