Effective cryotherapy treatment and business return on investment.

Cryosauna studies. Energy and consumption requirements for nitrogen cryosaunas

Currently there is a considerable amount of information available about the cryotherapy health benefits. Not only the medical use of WBC has become common, there are many other effective applications for its use. We receive many inquiries for cryotherapy for weight loss, to burn calories, cryosauna for reduce cellulitis…

When a cryosauna therapy search results in local treatment centers “near me”, clients become excited and relieved.

How are the benefits of a cryosauna combined with an effective business operation?

Entrepreneurs often perform extensive research when considering WBC and many questions arise:

What is the price of a cryosauna?

What are the operational costs of a cryotherapy business?

What are the cryo chamber evidences?

KRION is the creator of the original single-type cryosauna cabin and technology.

Below is the abstract from an article: why we chose Liquid Nitrogen (LN) for cryotherapy treatment and how much needed for an effective and efficient procedure.

ABSTRACT.

WBC is a technique that is based on supercooling a patient’s body to stimulate skin cold receptors at the depth of 0.15 мм from the skin surface forming a signal of maximum intensity at the temperature of –2 о С. Heat removal by gas with the temperature of not warmer than –130 о С allows localizing body supercooling zone at the depth of receptors.

KRION performed a research study to estimate maximum intensity of heat removal and necessary power consumption. The results determined requirements for consumption and power supply of cryo chamber that is crucial for efficiency and safety of WBC. The research was carried out by the mathematical models of WBC object (human body surface) and a cryosauna cabin. To perform an effective WBC procedure it is necessary to remove 3.8 kW of heat from the body surface. Taking into account total refrigerating capacity, the cryostatting system for a single-seated cryo chamber has to remove is as little as 6.4 kW of heat from the temperature level of –130 о С. Therefore, the cryotherapy machine should be based on a refrigerator of 47 kW power or nitrogen cooling system with refrigerating medium consumption of 0.025 kg/s or 4.45 kg per cryotherapy procedure.

The use of nitrogen cooling for optimal WBC zone results is effectively performed with KRION cryosaunas.

You can be sure in achieving the maximum WBC effect for your clients.

By having LN as the only main operational cost, your business is keeping a high mark up. LN is an easy-to-find consumable for a low price.

As a result, the highly competitive advantages of these single-seated WBC units has led to worldwide usage. Also, they have been implemented in Russian clinical practice for over than 20 years.
