In June 2026, Orgatec Tokyo — the largest office furniture trade show in Asia — drew designers, architects, and business leaders from around the world to Tokyo Big Sight. Kokuyo took the theme "Find your experience." and made it tangible, showcasing three chairs developed from the perspective of human experience — including the ingCloud, winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2026 Best of the Best, and a first-ever preview of their next-generation flagship chair. The booth itself was designed so that visitors' movements and lighting responded to each other, creating a space that felt alive. Okamura won the show's top award with "YAA," a Blending Furniture series that challenges the traditional role of the office partition. Rather than dividing people, YAA is designed to gently connect them — across departments, roles, and hierarchies — turning the office into a place where spontaneous interaction feels natural.
