First Successful Clinical Use of the Lepu Vesscrack Coronary IVL Balloon System in Lebanon

We are pleased to announce the first successful procedure in Lebanon utilizing the Lepu Vesscrack Coronary IVL Balloon System at Dar El Amal University Hospital.

Case Overview:

• Lesion Type: In-Stent Restenosis (ISR)

• Target Vessel: Proximal LAD，95% Stenosis

The Vesscrack Coronary IVL Balloon System was successfully used to modify the calcified lesion and facilitate optimal vessel expansion. Following treatment, coronary blood flow was effectively restored, with excellent angiographic results.

Patient Outcome:

• Significant restoration of vessel patency

• Stable clinical condition post-procedure

• Normal ECG findings

• Discharged within 48 hours

This milestone marks an important step in expanding access to advanced intravascular lithotripsy technology in Lebanon, supporting physicians in the treatment of complex coronary lesions and challenging ISR cases.
