StrainBot

StrainBOT Actuator System to load tissue samples or 3D cell cultures in vitro. The StrainBOT applies strain to samples between a piston and stationary platen using standard culture plates. It can load up to 900 N of applied force. Using the StrainBOT, researchers can observe biochemical changes and cell signaling in vitro that mimics in vivo conditions.
