DLS, PCS, QELS, NIBS, MADLS, ELS - Oh my!

Live Webinar September 19th, 2019

The basics of Dynamic Light Scattering and electrophoretic light scattering will be discussed. I will review the Dynamic Light Scattering acronyms, i.e what is meant by NIBS and MADLS. I will introduce the utility of light scattering measurements, provide useful tips for analyzing DLS measurement results and provide interesting example data.

I will also review Electrophoretic Light Scattering and zeta potential. Zeta potential is a function of both the particle surface and the dispersant and is, therefore, an important predictor of the interfacial behavior of a multi-component formulated product.

If you have an interest in the sizing of nano-materials, improving size results, identifying good and bad data. Join me in this introductory lecture on how sizing and zeta potential provide key results in a broad range of application problems.
