The major emphasis of this workshop relies with the acquisition of reliable experimental data and qualitative phase identiﬁcation using both manual and automated search techniques. The participants will also have hands-on experience of XRD data analysis through appropriate software programs including the data analysis using the technique of Rietveld reﬁnement of powder diffraction data and the live demo of Malvern Panalytical's latest range of X-ray diffractometers. Our diffractometers - Aeris compact powder XRD and Empyrean series 3 multipurpose XRD - have been improved to enable users to achieve superior data quality in faster measurement times. More importantly, considering operator ease of use with the help of AI and push-button operations. Hence no need to change or align any complicated optics.
