From lab to line - Material characterization in pharmaceutical process development

Live webinar 22 March 2022

Manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients at scale calls for robust processes that ensure quality. The methods used to measure quality must also be robust and be sensitive to the process they are intended to inform upon. The recommended approach is to design in quality from an early stage at small scale that can be transferred to later stages at larger scale. Consequently, these methods are relevant to those working in the lab or at the line.

This webinar will cover the technologies used to measure the material properties of powders and suspensions, to understand the processes that make them, and to help control their quality. We will also show you how our contract research organization , Concept Life Sciences, can help develop, run and transfer these methods.

Join us to learn why particle size and shape matters in process development, and how laser diffraction and image analysis are used to measure these properties. This will include a detailed overview of the material characterization technologies and real application examples.
