How to choose the correct size of the Maxxcare Heel Pro Evolution

Learn how to measure correctly and select the right Heel Pro Evolution size to support effective offloading, proper fit and patient comfort.

Correct sizing helps support effective heel offloading, pressure redistribution and patient comfort.

The Maxxcare Heel Pro Evolution is available in three sizes:
• Small: less than 35 cm / 14 inches
• Standard: 35–43 cm / 14–17 inches
• Extra Large: 43 cm / 17 inches or more

To determine the correct size, use a soft measuring tape and measure from the front of the ankle, where the shin meets the foot, to the back of the heel, slightly underneath the heel.
The tape should follow the natural contour underneath the heel.

Measurements should preferably be taken with the patient in a supine or slightly flexed position.

When a measurement falls between two sizes, select the larger size for the best fit.

A properly fitted Heel Pro Evolution helps support effective heel offloading, redistribute pressure away from the heel and support comfort during use. An incorrectly sized device may reduce offloading performance. Selecting the correct size helps ensure the SmartTubes are positioned appropriately around the lower leg and foot, maximizing pressure redistribution and comfort.
